Seared Halloumi, Honeyed Nuts & Apple Balsamic

Instructions 

1. Prepare the nuts

Gently warm the nuts in a pan with a touch of honey, allowing them to become lightly glazed and aromatic. Set aside to cool slightly.

2. Cook the halloumi

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the halloumi and cook until each side develops a deep golden crust while remaining soft at the centre.

3. Compose the dish

Arrange the warm halloumi neatly on a plate, allowing space for a clean, balanced presentation.

Ingredients (serves 2–3)

200g halloumi (sliced)

2 tbsp late harvest apple balsamic

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp olive oil

Handful of walnuts or hazelnuts

Fresh thyme

Black pepper
