Since its creation in 1996, Château Virant AOP Aix-en-Provence olive oil has been awarded the Gold Medal at the prestigious Concours Général Agricole de Paris, earning its reputation as one of the most awarded olive oils in France.
This exceptional oil reveals vibrant aromas of freshly cut grass, green foliage, crisp green apple, and delicate almond. On the palate, it is complex yet beautifully balanced, with a smooth texture and a refined structure. A subtle bitterness enhances its depth and contributes to its remarkable elegance.
Crafted from 42 hectares of olive groves, the olives are meticulously selected and inspected upon arrival at the mill. Leaves and imperfect fruit are removed before the olives are washed and crushed. The paste is gently kneaded, and the oil is mechanically extracted using centrifugal force. It is then carefully filtered, stored, and bottled to preserve its purity and character.
